PCAHR has serious concerns about this legislation which must be communicated to members of the House and Senate.
All Senators and Delegates need to hear your concerns.
For further details read this editorial in the Roanoke Times
Action needed – Each person is asked to contact their own Senator and Delegate and ask them to vote against both bills.
These bills will make it harder to protect children from abuse and neglect and could create numerous unintended consequences.
To contact your representatives go to –
Click on “Who’s My Legislator?” at the top.
Enter your mailing address and it will take you to a page with information for your Senator and Delegate.
There you can get their phone numbers and call; or
you can scroll down to the link “Contact My Legislators” and send one email to both legislators.
Just tell them that the bills are bad for children and ask them to OPPOSE HB 1642 and SB 908.
