Pinwheel Display Ideas
Ideal places to plant pinwheel gardens include near your mailbox, in your front yard, at your church or school, or in front of a business or community building.
Place pinwheels in large or small flower pots, inside or outside. Make a bouquet and place pinwheels in a vase. Encourage others in your community to plant a pinwheel garden. Host a community event and invite local families to help you plant your pinwheel garden.
Unless the ground is very soft, it is easiest to “plant” pinwheels by first making a hole in the ground with a large Phillips Head screwdriver. Then insert the stick of the pinwheel and tamp the ground around it.

National Child Abuse Prevention Month observed annually in April, helps spread the message that everyone can help prevent child abuse by investing in and cultivating great childhoods. Activities and outreach inspire people to support child abuse prevention and have a positive impact by preventing child abuse and neglect.
